WRA PresidentWelcome to the Washington Rheumatology Alliance (WRA). As a dedicated network of rheumatologists, we continually strive to improve the level of rheumatologic care through dynamic collaborations and emerging technological advances. New designs, new clinical tools, and new business strategies are being developed to collectively work toward three crucial goals: improve patient care and patient experience, improve the overall health of populations, and reduce the per capita cost of health care.

We start with the patient.  Members of the Washington Rheumatology Alliance believe in patient-centered care and clinical quality, manifested primarily through better care coordination, patient engagement, and in the end, improved patient outcomes. Securing patient access to treatment, appropriately managing treatment options, and implementing new standard of care technologies are all ways in which the WRA collectively brings about positive change in population health metrics and trends.

WRA envisions a systematic approach to quality improvement.  We would like to see comparative data methodology being used as the starting point for rheumatology providers and QI teams in  their discussions around clinical outcomes and performance.
We hope you will join us.
